Toxic Coach
Support
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Something isn't working, or your coach said something it shouldn't have? Write to support@toxiccoach.com. We're a small team: we usually answer within two business days, faster if your alarm didn't ring.
It helps a lot if you tell us your phone model, its iOS or Android version, the app version (at the bottom of Me → Settings) and what happened.
The alarm didn't ring
iPhone with iOS 26 or later
- Check that Toxic Coach is allowed to schedule alarms in the iPhone Settings app, under Toxic Coach.
- The alarm volume follows your ringer volume, so turn it up before bed.
- If you press Stop without finishing your mission, the alarm rings again a couple of minutes later. That's a feature.
iPhone with an older iOS
- Older iOS versions don't let apps ring like a real alarm, so Toxic Coach uses a chain of loud notifications: keep the ringer on (not silent) and allow Time Sensitive notifications for Toxic Coach.
Android
- Allow Alarms & reminders and full-screen notifications for Toxic Coach (in the app: Me → Settings → Notifications & alarms).
- Exclude Toxic Coach from battery optimization. Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei and OnePlus phones are known for killing apps in the background; dontkillmyapp.com has step-by-step guides for each brand.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Restore Pro on a new phone: Me → Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with.
- Cancel a subscription on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Cancel a subscription on Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- Refunds: payments go through the stores, so they handle refunds. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, follow Google Play's refund guide.
Your data
- Export: Me → Settings → Export my data.
- Delete: Me → Settings → Delete all my data. It erases every goal, alarm, streak and setting on your phone and can't be undone. Uninstalling the app also removes it.
- Anything else about your data: support@toxiccoach.com. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
Report a roast link
If someone used Toxic Coach to bother you, tap Report this link on the roast page, or email support@toxiccoach.com with the link. We review every report quickly and remove anything that breaks our Terms of Service.
Too much roast?
Turn on Mercy mode (Me → Settings → Mercy mode, or the Mercy button after a roast) to pause every roast for 24 hours. You can also lower the intensity in Settings. Being sick is never roasted.
